WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – Midwestern State University’s Gunn College is hosting its 24th Annual Community Health Fair from 9 a.m.-noon on Friday, Mar. 7.
The fair will take place on the MSU campus in Centennial Hall. Students from several practices, including nursing, dental hygiene, radiology, athletic training, exercise physiology, respiratory therapy will participate with a variety of educational presentations and health screenings.
Screenings will be available for blood pressure readings; blood glucose; lung function; height, weight, and body mass index; and HIV and STD tests, while educational demonstrations will cover topics ranging from mental health to healthy lifestyles.
The fair is also an opportunity to donate toiletries and non-perishable food to the Mustangs Pantry, plus unused or outdated eyeglasses to the Lion’s Club. Attendees can also donate blood and register as an organ donor.
