Volkswagen New Zealand has confirmed prices and specifications for the ID. Buzz and ID. Buzz Cargo which will arrive at local dealerships from June 2025.
It is available in four variants – ID. Buzz Pro NWB ($129,990), Pro LWB ($139,990), GTX (149,990), and Cargo ($114,990).
New Zealand dealers are now accepting orders for delivery from the second half of 2025.
The ID. Buzz has an exterior that blends a modern design with a tribute to its roots.
Thoughtful details, like its friendly “eye-blink” headlights, give the vehicle a fun personality. Both are equipped with autonomous emergency braking, front and side assist, pedestrian and cyclist detection, blind spot monitoring, and traffic alerts.
The interior of the ID. Buzz offers flexible seating options with 5, 6, or 7-seat configurations to suit various lifestyles.
The Ready-2-Discover package provides a 12.9-inch touchscreen and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, plus the ID. Buzz is equipped with a built-in phone charger and multiple USB ports.
Passenger variants come standard with front seats that feature a massage function. Additionally, the ID. Buzz Box—a removable storage compartment between the front seats—provides extra space. An optional panoramic roof is equipped with adjustable smart glass.
The ID. Buzz Cargo provides up to 328km in electric range, and a 707kg payload.
