The revamped version of “Esa Diva”, the Spanish entry for Eurovision 2025, and its official music video have been released.

The video is available now to watch in Spain on RTVE Play, with the video being released internationally on YouTube on March 14 at 09:00 CET. The music video for “Esa Diva” was recorded in Madrid at the end of February with Mario Ruiz, who will provide artistic direction for Basel, overseeing the video.

The revamp of the song has been carried out by EIGHTY4 and Rick Parkhouse and George Tizzard at Red Triangle Records. The song too was worked on at the end of February in Christchurch, UK with the aim to highlight Melody’s vocals. The song is now described as building through its duration and having a “Spanish stamp”.

Melody won Benidorm Fest 2025 and secured her place as Spain’s representative for Eurovision in Basel this May. With a total of 150 points, she impressed the professional jury, placing third with 70 points, and won the televote, earning the maximum 80 points. She will perform in the Grand Final on May 17th.

Spain debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961 and has competed annually since, making them the longest participating country that has never withdrawn. Spain has won the contest on two occasions; the first being in 1968 and the second time in 1969. 1969 is the only year where more than one song has won the contest. The 1969 contest saw a four-way tie between Spain, France, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
