  • Vols on a roll

Everything is working for Tennessee right now. A little more than 7 minutes away from a Sweet 16 berth.

  • Tennessee dominating 2nd half

The Vols have been on fire coming out of the locker room. It’s a 51-35 lead over UCLA with just under 10 minutes to play.

  • Tennessee pulling away

Tennessee is starting to run away with this one. Jordan Gainey and Chaz Lanier just hit back-to-back 3-pointers to lift the Vols to their first double digit lead of the night early in the second half. That’s a 9-0 run, and Tennessee is now up by 15.

  • Tennessee’s Final Four drought

Outside of BYU, which earned its first trip to the Sweet 16 in more than a decade earlier on Saturday, Tennessee is the only team left standing on this list. The Vols are searching for their first Final Four run in now 27 tries.

  • Final: Houston 81, Gonzaga 76

The Zags trailed all game long and finally had a shot to tie it up at the end, but ended up bungling the final possession. What a heartbreaking way for Gonzaga’s Sweet 16 streak to end.

LJ Cryer was the man for the Cougars, finishing with 30 points on 8-for-15 shooting. Graham Ike led the Bulldogs with 27 points.

Houston advances to the Sweet 16 to play Purdue next Friday.

  • Gonzaga turnover!

Oh no! Down 3, the Zags weren’t able to get a good look at the hoop and turned the ball over.

Houston is going to win this now.

  • Zags down 1 with 20 seconds left!

This is coming down to the wire! Get to TNT.

  • Zags rallying late

Gonzaga is still in it, down 4 with just over a minute left in the game after a late surge. Can they pull off the comeback?

  • Final: BYU 91, Wisconsin 89

An off-balance shot at the baseline by John Tonje misses for Wisconsin and BYU hangs on for the upset win! Despite a furious rally in the closing minutes, the Cougars hang on and advance to their first Sweet 16 since 2011.

  • Wisconsin ball with a chance to tie

The Badgers got the stop. 13 seconds left and Wisconsin trailing by 2.

  • Halftime: Tennessee 32, UCLA 25

UCLA went more than three minutes without scoring to close the half, which led to an 8-0 run from the Vols, but the Bruins are right with Tennessee at the break in this low-scoring battle to wrap the night.

  • Wisconsin within 2!

John Tonje is trying to will the Badgers back. He’s got 37, including an and-1 to shrink BYU’s lead to 91-89.

    39 seconds left

  • LJ Cryer, Houston still rolling

It’s been the same story in the second half for the Cougars and Zags. LJ Cryer has been torching Gonzaga all night and now has 28 points as the clock ticks away on the Bulldogs’ season.

Every time the Zags try to get back into it, the Cougars respond.

  • Wisconsin making one last push

A John Tonje 3-pointer draws the Badgers within 91-86 with 1:11 to go.

  • BYU player ejected for low blow

BYU’s Dawson Baker was tossed for this shot to the … lower section of Wisconsin’s Max Klesmit:

  • Wisconsin needs help

The Badgers need one last push to keep Big Ten perfection alive. BYU leads Wisconsin, 86-76, with 3:11 remaining in a game that it’s largely controlled. Wisconsin needs to get hot or it will be the first Big Ten team eliminated from the NCAA tournament.

  • Houston just 10 minutes away from Sweet 16

We’re at the midway point in the second half and Houston is still keeping Gonzaga at arm’s length. It’s a 9-point game.

  • Tennessee-UCLA locked up early

After UCLA jumped out to an early 6-2 lead, the Vols have bounced right back after a pair of 3-pointers from Chaz Lanier. We’re locked up 12-12 at the U12 timeout.

  • BYU opens things back up

Wisconsin cut its deficit to four points early in the second half at 52-48. BYU’s responded with a 15-8 run to extend its edge back to double digits at 67-56. Does Wisconsin have another run in the tank?
