Investments, Albania and North Macedonia with memorandum of understanding
The Director of the Albanian Investment and Development Agency (AIDA) Laura Saro and the Director of the Foreign Investment Agency in North Macedonia Refik Xhemaili signed in Tirana the Memorandum of Understanding to promote trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.
The memorandum stipulates the strengthening of cooperation in the field of attracting foreign investments, trade facilitation and support for companies from both countries, and the creation of mechanisms for the exchange of information and good business practices.
The Foreign Investment Agency of North Macedonia participated in Match-Maker Albania 2025, an important business event held on Thursday in Tirana.
This event aims to foster strategic partnerships, create new opportunities for trade cooperation, and strengthen economic relations between companies from the region.
As part of the event, Invest Macedonia was presented with information stands, where companies from North Macedonia had the opportunity to present their products, services and investment potential to Albanian partners and investors.
This was an excellent opportunity to establish direct business contacts and to present the competitive advantages of the Macedonian economy.
State Investment Advisor from Invest North Macedonia, Igor Velevski, was part of the panel discussion dedicated to investment and export opportunities, ATSH reports.
He emphasized the importance of regional economic integration and the potential for joint projects between North Macedonia and Albania.
Representatives of Invest North Macedonia held numerous meetings with Albanian companies, institutions and potential investors.
