TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Stormont Vail Health invites cardiologists, nurses, healthcare administrators, and all professionals interested to attend the Hall E. Harrison, M.D., Cardiovascular Conference.
The rapidly evolving field of cardiology requires continuous education and collaboration.
Specialists from Stormont Vail, St. Luke’s Health System, and the Eastern Kansas VA Medical Center will share the latest research and technologies in the field to assist attendees in growing as professionals and advocates for high-quality heart care.
“The Hall E. Harrison, MD, Cardiovascular Conference is a key way Stormont Vail works to advance heart care and improve our community’s health,” said Amber Judd, Director of Cardiovascular Clinics and Ancillary Departments at Stormont Vail. “Northeast Kansas is a unique region with a significant rural population that faces challenges in accessing specialized cardiovascular care. By bringing together expert speakers from regional institutions such as the Topeka Veterans Administration (VA) and St. Luke’s Hospital, we foster collaboration and share best practices to ensure that high-quality, innovative heart care reaches patients across our region, no matter where they live.”
The conference will be on Saturday, April 12, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The conference will take place at Washburn University Memorial Union, 1700 S.W. College Ave., Topeka.
Participants may also attend online via Zoom.
