The Houston Business Journal’s Business of Sports discussion will feature executives of the city’s top sports teams.
HOUSTON — The Houston Business Journal is excited to announce its inaugural Business of Sports panel discussion — where, for the first time ever, top executives from Houston’s most popular sports franchises will appear together to discuss what it will take for the Bayou City to remain a top sports destination.
The unprecedented event will take place Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 8-10 a.m. at The George Theater, located at 5420 Westheimer Road in Houston.

The six panelists participating in the discussion represent all of Houston’s major sports franchises and sporting events. They are:
- Chris Boleman, president and CEO of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
- Jessica O’Neill, president of business operations for the Houston Dynamo Football Club
- Anita Sehgal, executive vice president of marketing and communications for the Houston Astros
- Gretchen Sheirr, president of business operations for the Houston Rockets
- Mike Tomon, the new president of the Houston Texans
