AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj welcomed the Kosovo Police action in Gjakova on Sunday, where four Serbian “pilgrims” were detained, including a lieutenant and a Serbian soldier.
Haradinaj has said that doubling the salaries of Kosovo police officers is an obligation.
“We salute the action of the Kosovo Police today in Gjakova. Those who fled from here in shame in 1999 have no place in Kosovo, for any reason. The Kosovo Police and all the uniforms of the state of Kosovo constantly show that Kosovo is not a country without God. They did not waver and never disappointed us. Increasing salaries, doubling them, is not just a request, it is an obligation of the state towards this essential category of the Republic of Kosovo,” Haradinaj wrote on Facebook.
