Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric has stated that the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue must be established in good faith, which is impossible under the current circumstances.
At the UN Security Council meeting, Đurić complained about the closure of institutions that had been parallel in various municipalities of Kosovo.
He also complained about the election results in Kosovo and the delay in publication, allegedly with the aim of giving Albin Kurti another vote and seat in the Kosovo Assembly, in his favor.
“Dialogue remains the only possible path, but it must be created in good faith. The image that was presented to you is bleak and in these circumstances it is difficult to talk about creating trust, which is a prerequisite for dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. We believe that at this moment new forces and energies are needed for dialogue, as dialogue has not produced any results so far,” he said, adding that they will try to be constructive in the dialogue, KP reports.
