CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — More than 2,000 electric customers were without power in Cedar Rapids on Tuesday.
The outage included Kirkwood Community College and its main campus.
According to Alliant Energy, the outage began in the Kirkwood area sometime Tuesday morning and power was restored to the area by late afternoon. The cause of the outage was listed as “planned.”
