Today, until April 12, the President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj, will be on an official visit to the Republic of Kosovo. President Begaj will initially visit the municipality of Gjilan, where he will be received by the mayor of this municipality, Alban Hyseni, from 13:20 p.m.
Bajram Begaj is also expected to be honored with the title of “Honorary Citizen” of the municipality of Gjilan.
On this occasion, the Kosovo Police announces that during this visit, which will take place in the Republic of Kosovo, it will take care of maintaining public order and peace during the movement of the escort and the delegation’s stay in Kosovo.
“In order to enable the free movement of the escort according to the movement itinerary from the Vërmica border crossing point, as well as the development of activities according to the agenda of the visit to the regions of Kosovo, the Kosovo Police will temporarily interrupt traffic flow (in short time intervals) on several road segments (where the escort is expected to pass), where there may be a reorientation of traffic to alternative routes,” the announcement states. For this, the Kosovo Police requests full understanding from citizens and traffic participants.
