Annual producer inflation in North Macedonia rose to 7.1% in February 2025, up from 6.9% in the previous month.

This marked the tenth consecutive month of rising producer prices and the highest level since February 2023.

The increase was mainly driven by a significant rise in energy prices (23.5% vs. 15.9%) and a slight uptick in capital goods prices (16% vs. 15.8%).

Meanwhile, price growth slowed for both intermediate goods (1.7% vs. 1.8%) and non-durable goods (5.5% vs. 5.7%), while costs for durable goods declined (-1.7% vs. +0.4%).

On a monthly basis, producer prices increased by 0.6% in February, compared to a 1.4% rise in January.
