TULIA, Texas (KFDA) – An international solar energy developer announced today the operation of one of the country’s largest facilities in Swisher County near Tulia.
In a news release, Vesper Energy says the development has more than one million modules over six square miles.
The Hornet Solar facility will contribute about $100 million in tax revenues to local taxing entities over its lifetime.
Construction on the facility began in the fall of 2023.
