Kosovo’s futsal team suffered a defeat to Georgia on Friday night, with a score of 3:1.
The match held at the “Palace of Youth and Sports” in Pristina was valid for the qualifications of “Euro 2026”, which is organized in Latvia and Lithuania.
But now the “Dardans” have lost their chances of qualifying.
Kosovo lost the first match against Georgia in Tbilisi on December 13th 3:1.
The only goal for Kosovo was scored by Mërgim Dervishaj.
Kosovo currently occupies third place with three points, while Bulgaria is left behind with no points.
France leads the group after four matches with 12 points.
Second-place Georgia also has 12 points.
In the second group match, Kosovo won 6:2 against Bulgaria in Pristina. They then suffered two consecutive losses to France, 5:0 at home and 9:4 away.
Kosovo will play the last match of this qualifying campaign on April 16th, away to Bulgaria, at 17:00 PM.
