Former Napoleon Pitcher Making Waves at GVSU
Napoleon High School graduate Collin Bradley was named this week’s GLIAC conference Pitcher of the Week. Grand Valley State junior pitcher Collin Bradley picked up the win over Saginaw Valley State in a key GLIAC series between two of the top teams. Bradley yielded 2 runs on one hit in 7 innings of work with 7 strikeouts. After giving up a leadoff single and walking two batters, Bradley retired 19-of-20 batters, including 16 consecutive after the 2nd inning. SVSU hit just .050 off Bradley for the game. Bradley is 3-2 on the year with a team-best 2.30 ERA. He has allowed just 11 earned runs in 43.0 innings with 35 strikeouts.
