Bulgaria will increase its capacity to import gas from Greece by 50 per cent a year from next January to eight billion cubic metres (bcm) annually, the head of gas transmission operator Bulgartransgaz said on Monday.

    “We as Bulgartransgaz have done our job… by the end of this year we will increase entry capacity from Greece by 50 per cent which will lead to (an) increase of total capacity from Greece to Bulgaria hopefully very soon to around eight bcm/year.
