  1. someone just evaporated the east European corner but conveniently left georgia alive to pretend like it’s Europe.

Hmmm, what’s the key difference between Europe and America that could be causing all these extra homicides I wonder?

Nice to see my state of NJ is at European levels for homicide. Not surprised about Louisiana.

  4. I love this map, you can even read the numbers below the gradients…. would I say if I could actually read them….

  5. Minas Gerais is not as bad as I thought. When I was a kid I remember me and a couple friends going to a friend’s house when we noticed the neighbor washing blood off of the sidewalk. Some body has been shot and when I told my father about who it was he said “good, we’re a little safer now with him dead”. I had friends whose relatives got killed and sometime ago I found out they killed one of the quietest kids from my school.

How is this r/mapporn? I have no idea what year this is from, and I can’t see the numbers on the scale.

  7. Most of this violence is coming from illicit guns sourced from the US.

I’m fine pumping the brakes on gun control for legal users, but the US needs to figure it shit out when it comes illegal arms trafficking. Way too many guns are sold legally and then illegally sold into the black market. A lot of lives can be saved without violating 2A rights.
