Newscum: we can’t fix our country but you should come anyway

Sounds like a whole lot of not our problem with a sprinkle of “if you don’t like the government so much why don’t you just leave?”

  2. Right on time for your plea Gavin when Trump starts beating the 51st state horseshit again.

    It’s not elbows up.

    It’s over my dead body.

  3. Dear America. We want to come visit. We love America. But first FIX YOUR FUCKING HOUSE!

You CAN get us Canadians back, but not by pleading to US. Look to your own first and then our will shall follow.

  5. What, no one wants to chance a free trip to El Salvador.. and possible a free hysterectomy ?

  6. Everything Governor Newsom is doing right now is preparation for his upcoming Presidential run. He can’t do anything so he just wants to get his name into headlines.

He is a slimy opportunist and should be ignored.

    >B.C. Conservative Leader John Rustad says he worries a B.C. boycott of travel to California could hurt the province’s tourism industry if the Americans retaliate by not visiting B.C.

    >“Eighty-five per cent of our tourism in British Columbia comes from the United States, we want to make sure we welcome Americans to British Columbia,” said Rustad.

Wait til summer tourist season, I am very sure a lot of Canadians are more interested in being tourists in their own country and will make up for much of the lost revenue from Americans.

  8. We’re looking at $20B being reinvested in the Canadian economy annually if Canadians do not travel to the US and instead travel within Canada.

Boycott aside, US customs right now seem like an utter nightmare. Asking tourists if they support Trump is a very North Korea thing to do if you ask me.

I’ll save up and take my future grandkids to Disney in Paris. Because I expect I’ll still be vengeful and pissed a decade or two from the current crisis. After all, the north remembers

Stay the F out of the USA. They can send you somewhere to rot in jail because of admin errors. Scary AF. I don’t trust their borders anymore.

There is nothing that the US can offer that you can’t get somewhere else in the world and it won’t come with the risk of being detained at the border or threats to our sovereignty

Just visited an ailing friend in SoCal for 2 weeks. Everything was ridiculously expensive already. What would it be with the tariff war going on? I’m almost sure that I’ll skip the US for the next decade as a vacation destination, regardless of the politics. Not worth my hard earned money.

  14. Sorry, Gavin! The orange clown you got running the place said Americans don’t need Canada.

    Moose out front shoulda toldja.

The California coastal Counties voted for Harris, but the rest of California voted for Trump. Fuck Cali.

Is Gavin going to come rescue us when we get thrown into an El salavadorian prison because we “went to the beach”

This fucker has a bad case of Stockholm syndrome. He’s essentially saying: “Let’s not upset our abusers guys. They might not like it.”

Thanks, but no thanks. I don’t want to end up in an El Salvadorian concentration camp.

  19. I get it. His state is hurting. But that is kind of the point isn’t it? Share the pain and to get Californians to see the impact the Trump administration is having and perhaps talk to their congressmen.

The governor of California is a very powerful man.  Instead of ignoring what Trump is doing, how about he stand up and announce that California will not collect or process Trump’s tariffs?

  21. Sorry California…You may not be a Republican state but you are American so you get the same results

  22. Inevitable_View99 on

Come to America where we will search your phone for anti Trump memes, kidnap and deport you to a Central American concentration camp because reasons.

Absolutely hold the line. Blue States let this happen with their voter apathy.

BC film industry exists because of our cheaper dollar, not necessarily because of better talent.

Some of the posters in US subs that are near tourism areas or close to the border are getting worried. Guess the video is proof that Canadian absences are getting noticed.
