SKOPJE (N. Macedonia), April 16 (SeeNews) – North Macedonia’s total customs revenue came in at nearly 480 million euro ($545.4 million) in the first quarter, up by 13.6 million euro compared with the like period a year earlier, the customs administration said.

Revenue from custom duties rose by 15.6%, excise duties by 5.7% and the motor vehicle tax by 16.2% year-on-year in the first quarter, North Macedonia’s customs administration said in a press release earlier this week.

In 2024, North Macedonia’s customs revenue rose 6.3% to 2 billion euro, the customs administration had said earlier.
