Fresh from announcing her comeback, Jamaican sprint queen Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce got straight back down to business… at her son’s sports day.

Fraser-Pryce has twice won the mother of all titles, Olympic women’s 100m gold, and the 38-year-old was not messing around against other parents on Wednesday (17 April) – cruising to a comfortable victory.

“They haven’t banned me yet so I’m at the line,” Fraser-Pryce joked on Instagram, positing footage of son Zyon in action as well as videos of her own 100m race win.

Fraser-Pryce is the third fastest woman of all time, clocking 10.6s in 2021, and it was no surprise to see she left the other parents chasing her shadow at the 2025 edition.

The Beijing 2008 and London 2012 champion won by a sizeable margin, as she did when competing in the same race two years ago.
