The Simon Business School at the University of Rochester is launching four graduate certificates in Health Care Management.
The focused pathways provide students with expertise in leadership, finance, strategy and marketing, or analytics and artificial intelligence.
The following graduate certificate programs begin in August:
• Graduate Certificate in Health Care Finance
• Graduate Certificate in Health Care Leadership, and
• Graduate Certificate in Health Care Strategy and Marketing
The first-round application deadline for fall certificates is May 15. The Graduate Certificate in Health Care Analytics and Artificial Intelligence will start in March 2026.
Each of the four certificate programs include three graduate-level 7-week courses curated from Simon’s Master of Science in Medical Management (MMM) program.
The programs are ideal for both clinical and non-clinical health care professionals across a wide range of job titles and responsibilities. Credits earned in up to two certificates may be applied toward completion of the 18-month part-time MMM degree program.
Credits earned may also be applied toward Simon’s Professional MBA or Executive MBA programs.
“Today’s health care leaders need both clinical and business acumen to thrive,” said Samuel Ogie, clinical assistant professor of Health Sciences Management and faculty director of the Medical Management Program at Simon Business School. “Our new graduate certificate programs are designed to equip participants with the practical skills they need to manage complex health care environments while also giving them the flexibility to advance their education without stepping away from their careers.”
