TIRANA (Albania), April 24 (SeeNews) – The World Bank said it expects projects Kosovo’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) will grow by 3.8% this year, cutting its October forecast by 0.1 percentage points (pp).
Next year Kosovo’s economy is expected to achieve the same growth pace as in 2025, the World Bank said in its latest Economic Update for Europe and Central Asia report published on Wednesday.
Last year Kosovo’s GDP grew by an estimated 4.4%.
In the Western Balkans region where Kosovo belongs the World Bank anticipates the economy will expand by 3.2% in 2025, decreasing its October projection of 3.7%. The region’s economic output grew by an estimated 3.5% in 2024, as per the report.
