SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), April 30 (SeeNews) – Bosnia’s Intesa Sanpaolo Banka [SAJ:UPIB] said it has signed a 20 million euro ($22.8 million) loan agreement with Germany’s development bank KfW to support green investments of Bosnian SMEs and local municipalities.

    The Low Carbon Energy Facility Bosnia credit line aims at improving energy efficiency in businesses and municipalities as well as supporting small-scale renewable energy projects, Intesa Sanpaolo Banka said in a press release on Tuesday.

    The deal comprises a 3 million euro grant component, which enables refunds of up to 15% of investment value to clients who successfully implement energy efficiency measures.

    Bosnian Intesa Sanpaolo Banka is a subsidiary of Croatia’s Privredna banka Zagreb [ZAG:PBZ], which is part of Italian lender Intesa Sanpaolo Group.
