Valon Murtezaj, member of the General Council of the Democratic League of Kosovo, has called on the LDK leadership to respond positively to the invitation of the leader of Vetëvendosje, Albin Kurti, for a meeting.
Kurti has invited the leaders of the LDK and PDK to a consultative meeting on the constitution of the Assembly on May 1.
“In politics, and in crisis situations, when the Republic of Kosovo does not have an active Assembly, nor an active Government, participation in the discussion table, without entering into any kind of prejudice, is a democratic value and leadership. Kosovo is a new state and it is essential that dialogue between the different parties avoids deepening crises,” he wrote on Facebook.
Murtezaj further added that Participation in discussion tables is not a weakness; on the contrary, it promotes democratic values and helps build consensus on complex and important issues for Kosovo.
