Oingo Boingo Former Members is a high-energy musical act bringing iconic sounds from the original New Wave rock band Oingo Boingo. This new band features several key former members of the legendary ’80s group who want to create an unforgettable experience with performances of classics like “Dead Man’s Party,” “Weird Science” and “Just Another Day.” Known for an “electrifying stage presence,” Oingo Boingo Former Members is for fans of the original band and anyone who enjoys nostalgia-driven performances. Mariachi

A mariachi band will perform for patrons at El Baja Bar & Grill. The establishment has the Sunday Buffet Brunch special featuring fajitas and enchiladas and drink choices of bottomless mimosas, sodas or hot coffee. Adults pay $38 and kids’ meals cost $12. Around 11 a.m., the live music starts.

Teens Animaker Space Animatronics

Teens 13 to 17 will use the Fontana Lewis Library and Technology Center’s animatronics station featuring a robot that can be programmed to have its arms move and give it the ability to speak sentences.

Teens Animaker Space 3D Printing
MAY 7
Students 13 to 17 will learn about the Stratasys F170 3D printers and the TinkerCAD modeling program to make a project. This printing process takes digital 3D models and constructs new objects layer by layer using plastic materials.

Adventures in Art

Samuel “Chente” Franco is a tribute musician to mariachi and ranchera singer Vicente Fernández. He covers some of the most recognizable works from Fernández like “Volver, Volver” (to go back, to go back) and “Por Tu Maldito Amor” (Because of Your Damn Love).

Teens Animaker Space Vinyl Printing
MAY 14
This learning session will teach participants 13 to 17 about computer programs for 3D modeling and printing. Teens will learn to use the Roland BN-20 Vinyl Cutter and VersaWorks when making a project. Other ages are welcome on the following days: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday classes for ages 8 through 12; Wednesday classes for ages 13 through 17; and Saturday classes for ages 18 and older. The library recommends visiting beforehand to pick up a program calendar. Late arrivals are allowed up until 15 minutes after the program starts.
