In case of victory on Sunday against Llapi, Drita will be declared the Kosovo football champion in the 2024/2025 season, four rounds before the end of the championship.
On Saturday, Balkan, as the first follower, suffered a loss to Prishtina and is now 9 points behind Drita, with the team from Gjilan playing the remaining match tomorrow.
Drita currently has 66 points, while Balkan has 57. And if Drita takes 12 points away with a victory over Llapi, then in the best case scenario for Balkan, the teams at the end of the season could only be tied on points. But because Drita has won the last three duels with Balkan, then it comes out ahead in the standings and the title would return to Gjilan.
The Drita-Llapi match will start at 15:00.

Drita has won three championship titles so far. The last one was won in 2020.
Balkan has won the title three times in a row in recent seasons.
