IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich. (WLUC) – A Dickinson County man faces up to 15 years in prison after entering a plea agreement on Monday.
Trentin McWilliams was arrested in 2023 as part of Operation Survivor Justice, a partnership between the Michigan Department of Attorney General, local county prosecutors, and the U.S. Marshals Service.
They work together to locate, apprehend, and return to Michigan fugitive offenders with outstanding sexual assault warrants.
On Monday, McWilliams pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, which carries a maximum sentence of 15 years.
He’s accused of sexually assaulting two minors on separate occasions.
In a second case, McWilliams pleaded no contest to criminal sexual conduct in the second degree. Both terms would be served concurrently.
His sentencing is scheduled for July 7.
