Louisiana’s “American Idol” finalist John Foster got to sing directly to his girlfriend, Brooklyn Bourque, during Monday night’s show.
“Judges’ Choice” night had Addis teen Foster, 18, choosing from three songs picked by the judges. First up was his interpretation of George Strait’s “Cross My Heart,” selected by judge and former “Idol’ winner Carrie Underwood.
Bourque stood in the audience, just in front of the stage, screaming and jumping up and down amongst a group of girls doing the same.
“I feel like this is one of your best performances,” Underwood told him.
Fans, you have until during the last commercial, about 8:50 p.m. to cast your votes to put Foster in “Idol’s” top 7.
