2025 U.S. Open: Oakmont gears up to host its 10th championship
Oakmont and the USGA is looking to give the world’s top players a tough challenge and fans a unique experience at the 125th U.S. Open Championship.

BaseballKolton Johnson, Quaker Valley
Johnson was 2-for-2 with a pair of RBIs in the team’s 5-1 win over Obama Academy.
Jordan Keller, Ellwood City
Keller recorded two hits in two at-bats during the team’s 11-1 loss to Montour.
Oscar Roig, Quaker Valley
Outside of recording one hit, Roig pitched four innings and allowed no runs on three hits and one walk while striking out five in the team’s win over Obama Academy.
Tyler Kisling, Beaver Area
Kisling recorded three hits in the team’s 2-1 win over North Catholic.
Ty Butler, Beaver Area
Butler pitched 5.2 innings allowing one run on seven hits, three walks and set down seven in the team’s win over North Catholic.
Dylan Smith, Blackhawk
After hitting a home run and driving in two runs in the series opener against Hopewell, Smith recorded three hits and four RBIs on Tuesday in the team’s 10-4 win over Hopewell.
Connor Welsh, Blackhawk
Welsh drove in three runs in the team’s win over Hopewell.
Carter Davis, Blackhawk
Davis set down eight on the mound in the team’s win over Hopewell in the series opener.
Dean Douglass, OLSH
Douglass went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in the team’s 4-0 win over Riverview.
Thomas Medwig, OLSH
Medwig pitched a complete game shutout against Riverview giving up five hits while striking out six in the team’s 4-0 win over Riverview. Then in the series finale, Medwig went 2-for-3 in the team’s 4-3 win over Riverview to complete the series sweep.
Vernon Krepps, New Brighton
Krepps pitched a complete game allowing no earned runs while setting down eight in the team’s 2-1 loss to Neshannock.
Iseia Schulz, OLSH
Schulz went six innings allowing two runs on eight hits allowing one free pass and striking out six in the team’s series sweep over Riverview.
Nolan Donnelly, Sewickley Academy
Donnelly went 2-for-4 with one RBI in the team’s 15-3 loss to Serra Catholic.
