  2. I highly recommend *Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds* by Charles Mackay. The book was first published nearly 200 years ago, and it’s still in print. Even today it’s still entertaining and insightful. The Tulip Mania chapter had me laughing loud in disbelief a few times.
