British troops could join EU forces under new security pact

All seems entirely sensible.

Brexitters: we need to leave so we don’t become part of an EU army

More ‘could’ bullshit. Sounds good on paper but it probably won’t happen until it’s too late. The EU and the UK have endless amounts of bureaucracy to fight before they will fight the Russians together.
