This annoys me as an invisible disabled person because it subconsciously makes me feel like I’m not helping out my fellow disabled/disadvantaged people and taking the easy privileged road when I just easily hop on and off

Is there a reason for bus drivers to not want to do this?

This should be an instant sacking, as it’s blatantly breaching the Equality Act.

As someone with a young child that doesn’t drive, I rely on the bus to get into the main town, so I’ll sit in the disabled spot (as you’re allowed with prams), but if anyone that needed it got on, I’d immediately move without question. It may take a little longer to get the child out of the pram and fold it down, but I’d move.
