      I don’t like it.

      Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t piss on Farrage if he were on fire, I think him getting into power would be every bit as bad for us, as Trump is for America. But attacking him like this makes him seem like a genuine political adversary, it reeks of fear, and does nothing to address the reasons why people are supporting him.

      Labour should be smarter than this.

      Edit: LMAO, must be a lot of angry Farrage fans in here, or are they angry Starmer fans, can’t really tell.

      Has he gotten around to doing any clinics yet? Last time I paid any attention to this melted welly he’d been voted in for about 5 months and hadn’t spoken to a single one of his constituents and was at the time living it up in America with his shitty mates Trump & Co, who I’m sure think he’s a pathetic little skidmark but humour him anyway ’cause he wants to be like one of them

      Farage said if Brexit didn’t work, he’d move abroad. Pretty sure he has dual citizenship with at least one other country. He’s not out for the UK. He’s out for himself.

      I’m heartened that there’s a politician with a bit of a backbone willing to voice an opinion. Actual politics rather than just money grabbing bs, I like it.

      Starmer wants to have his cake and eat it. He wants to out-reform reform. Then when the next election rolls around they’ll try and win back the left wing voters they left behind by espousing rhetoric on tactical voting to keep Farage out. Just like when we supposedly got the tories out.

      Regardless of whether Farage or Starmer win the next election the majority will get fucked over, you can argue they may bleed out slower under Starmer but the end results are still a horrific picture of worsening wealth inequality and the rapid onset of the oncoming climate catastrophe.

      I don’t think anyone in Parliament will fix our broken society. All we can do is eek out what little happiness we can find whilst the world burns around us. Anything else is a utopian ideal at this point. Our political system will clearly never work for millions of people. The government work for the donors and lobbyists who enable them, not the electorate. Once they get your vote they don’t give a fuck about you.

      I still laugh at the posts from the beginning of the month from people beating the reform drum….. then a day later, complaining they have nobody to look after their dog and child now they have to return to the office to work.

      The country has gone mad.

      On a side note I’m looking for a country offering free accommodation on arrival, preferably somewhere hot, any ideas?
