The source for the photos is the SAS Museum, near Oslo Airport Gardermoen.

The problem with these types of photos is that the this is something that you still can get, it is called first class and most people are not willing to pay for it.
Because of strong competition for budget travelers, many airlines subsidize their economy passengers with the more expensive tickets from business and forst class.
But there is no market for such a flight at this time, when you can get the same flight at 1/5 the price for a seat in economy.

A lot of these are promotional photos and not typical even for first class. SAS cattle class today painfully reminds you of your social standing from gate to gate, while trying to pass off IKEA particle board production scraps as bread.

    3. First class meals on Japanese airlines today seem a lot more fancy and sophisticated. A jello mold wouldn’t be out of place on that trolly

    4. Norwegian here. What happened? Now it’s just really expensive snacks and the most average cafes known to man.
