“F*ck False Witnesses” – political prisoner, Giorgi Akhobadze, holding a sign during his court trial

Giorgi Akhobadze, a 43-year-old anesthesiologist and active participant in pro-EU protests, was arrested in December 2024 while returning from a demonstration. He was charged with possession of a large quantity of drugs allegedly found in his pocket. There were no cameras recording the search, nor any independent witnesses present — the only evidence comes from police testimony. If convicted, he faces 8 to 20 years in prison.
