SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), May 23 (SeeNews) – The number of construction permits issued in Bosnia’s Serb Republic increased 20% on the year in April to 206, the entity’s statistical office said in a report.
The number of permits issued for residential and non-residential buildings totalled 99 in April, down 3.9% year-on-year, the Institute of Statistics of the Serb Republic said on Thursday.
The number of permits for civil engineering projects in April jumped 55% on the year to 107, while permits issued for dwellings dropped by an annual 56% to 337.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
