Myth Volume #2 (Mythos) – The Ancient Greek Mythology in Manga – Kickstarter Campaign.

Hello.

We are the team of Mangatelelers. We have been creating and producing original manga in Greece for the last 14 years.

The myth (Aka Mythos) is the Fantasy Manga we have been creating for five years in collaboration with Italian Mangaka Matteo Brizio & the French Manga Artist Jonathan Corbo.

We have almost completed the first two parts of the sequel 100+ pages and we made Launch the Kickstarter Campaign of Mythos Volume #2 – Part I Here:https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mangatellersgr/mythos-manga-volume-2-part-i/ aimed at publishing and printing the first part of the second Manga volume (Tankoubon).

History

Mythos’s story evolves in ancient Greece, into a fantasy setting that combines ancient Greek mythology with the darkness and religious oppression of Mession.

In the first volume the central heroes are Ark and Lydia. Ark grows up with his father by cultivating their field in the village, but what he dreams is a life full of adventure, away from rural life. Lydia is Ark’s only girlfriend in the village and his only way out of his bastard rural life. One of the 12 gods of Olympus has given Lydia to control the element of fire, a gift that highlights it in the social class of the village.

The adventure begins when mythological creatures invade the village of Ark and Lydia, and they are invited to make life or death decisions to save their families. They will discover deeply hidden secrets for their families and will be called upon to face powerful enemies to survive.

In Mythos Volume #2 the adventure continues with ARK being like a slave in a different city, where trade blooms and the port of the city hosts merchant ships of the time. In this city, Ark will experience the rich life of the upper communal groups, but also the oppression and misery of the lower communal classes. Social inequality in the city boils and Ark will find the wrong time at the wrong spot to escape.
