The Head of the EU Office in Kosovo, Aivo Orav, called for the quick formation of new institutions after the February 9 parliamentary elections.

He said the European Union needs a partner in government to work and discuss integration processes.

Orav said the EU has started lifting punitive measures against Kosovo. He stressed the need for close cooperation with local authorities, reports KosovaPress.

However, the EU Ambassador in Kosovo emphasized the need to establish the Association of Serb-majority municipalities.

Orav made these comments on Wednesday during a discussion table about Kosovo’s EU integration, organized by the Pristina Institute for Political Studies and the FOL Movement.
