Sights and sounds from the Green Bay Charity Softball Game hosted by Jordan Love on May 23, 2025, at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium.

SOFTBALLDivision 1 regional semifinalsKimberly 15, Appleton West 0
KIMBERLY – Brecken Ludtke hit two home runs and drove in four runs to lead the Papermakers to the regional win over the Terrors.
Kimberly, which led 4-0 after two innings, broke open the game in the third inning when it scored nine runs.
Sophie Hermus scored three runs and drove in three runs with two hits for Kimberly. Kylie Van Handel had two hits, while Addie Parish drove in two runs. Paige Schreck also had a home run for Kimberly.
Isabella Ellestad pitched three innings of no-hit ball to get the win. Zoey Thayer pitched the fourth inning for Kimberly.
Hattie Moscinski started and took the loss for Appleton West.
Kimberly is 17-9 and will face De Pere in the regional final.
Appleton West ends its season with a record of 2-19.
Hortonville 1, Appleton North 0
HORTONVILLE – Abbie Sippola led off the seventh inning with a triple and scored the winning run off a sacrifice fly by Lainie Schroeder as the Polar Bears outlasted the Lightning.
Grace Danoski picked up the win, pitching seven innings and allowing four hits with a season-high 10 strikeouts.
Charlotte Radtke took the loss, going 6⅓ innings, allowing two hits and one earned run with two walks and six strikeouts.
The win moves Hortonville to 15-11 overall, while North finishes its season at 11-14.
Menasha 1, West Bend East 0
MENASHA – Both teams were strong in the circle, but Teagan Massey-Plamann allowed just three hits and no walks while striking out three to earn the regional win.
Hannah Neubert, Gabrielle Farr and Daviany Felix Carrasquillo each collected one hit to pace the Bluejays.
Menasha scored its lone run in the second inning.
With the win, the Bluejays move to 16-11 overall, while West Bend East finishes its season at 11-14.
Hartford 15, Appleton East 7
HARTFORD – The Orioles cruised past the Patriots in regional action.
With the win, Hartford moves to 22-5 overall, while East finishes its season at 5-19.
Freedom 2, West De Pere 0
FREEDOM – The Irish blanked the Phantoms to earn the regional semifinal win.
Freedom is 16-11 overall, while West De Pere finishes its season at 12-14.
Division 2 regional semifinalsFox Valley Lutheran 9, Marinette 0
APPLETON – Madison Babcock struck out 15 batters over seven innings to lead the Foxes to the win over the Marines.
Babcock allowed four hits in her complete-game effort for Fox Valley Lutheran. Babcock also pitched an immaculate inning, striking out the side on nine pitches.
Natalie Bromm had three hits for FVL, while Babcock had two hits.
Brianna Adamski took the loss for Marinette, allowing nine runs on 14 hits.
Next up for Fox Valley Lutheran (25-0) is Seymour (15-6) in a regional final.
Seymour 8, Winneconne 1
WINNECONNE – The fifth-seeded Thunder advance to the regional final against Fox Valley Lutheran with the win over the fourth-seeded Wolves.
Winneconne’s season ends with a 16-7 record.
Medford 4, New London 3
MEDFORD – The Raiders held off the Bulldogs as they moved to 19-7 on the season.
New London closes its season at 9-12.
Mosinee 17, Waupaca 1
MOSINEE – Mosinee moved to 20-6 on the season as it cruised past the Comets.
Waupaca closes out its season at 4-22.

BRILLION – The Lions moved to 20-3 overall with the win over the Raiders.
Kiel finishes its season at 10-14.
Southern Door 5, Chilton 3
BRUSSELS – The Eagles held off the Tigers in regional action.
The win moved Southern Door to 14-7 overall, while Chilton finished its season at 14-11.
Valders 4, Wrightstown 2
VALDERS – The Vikings doubled up the Tigers in regional action.
With the win, Valders moved to 17-6 overall. while Wrightstown finished its season at 13-13.
Xavier 11, Tomah 10
APPLETON – The Hawks tripped up Tomah for the regional win.
The win moves Xavier to 10-9, while Tomah finishes its season at 21-5.
Clintonville 1, Weyauwega-Fremont 0
CLINTONVILLE – The Truckers held off the Warhawks in regional action.
The win moves Clintonville to 11-13 overall, while Weyauwega-Fremont finishes its season at 8-14.
Division 4 regional semifinalsAlgoma 5, St. Mary Catholic 1
ALGOMA – The Wolves overcame an early 1-0 deficit, rallying for four runs in the third and one in the fifth to advance to regional final action.
Natalie Ray led Algoma, going 2-for-3 with a homer and an RBI, while Sierra Slaby added two RBIs and Macie Zimmerman smacked a grand slam.
Emily Vogel drove in the Zephyrs’ lone run.
Zimmerman earned the win in the circle, going seven innings and allowing five hits, one earned run and three walks while striking out eight.
The win moved the Wolves to 13-6, while St. Mary Catholic finished its season at 5-16.
Bonduel 10, Shiocton 0
BONDUEL – The Bears scored two in the first, one in the third, four in the fifth and three in the sixth to earn the regional win.
Tatum Sporisky was 4-for -4, scored four runs and drove in another, while Jayla Reinke was 2-for-3 with four RBIs. Julianna Jacobs, Taylor Rank and Emery Thompson added two hits each.
Thompson scattered seven hits and was supported by solid defensive plays to blank the Chiefs.
Manawa 11, Crandon 1
MANAWA – The Wolves cruised past Crandon to advance to regional final play.
Manawa is now 17-4 overall, while Crandon finished its season at 5-11.
Palmyra-Eagle 11, Hilbert 10
HILBERT – The Wolves came up just short against Palmyra-Eagle in regional play.
The loss closed Hilbert’s season at 14-9 overall, while Palmyra-Eagle is now 12-15.
BASEBALLKimberly 10, Oshkosh North 2
KIMBERLY – Maddux Hermus allowed two runs on four hits and one walk while striking out eight to lead the Papermakers to the win over the Spartans.
Connor Olson pitched a perfect seventh inning for Kimberly.
Ben Johnston and Hermus both had three hits for Kimberly. Sawyer Deering, Jack Anzelmo and Shaefer Peterson each had two hits. Deering had a double, while Hermus and Olson each had a triple.
Olson, Johnston and Hermus each drove in two runs for Kimberly.
Jackson Anderson and Connor Palmquist both had two hits for Oshkosh North.
Zach Kiffmeyer took the loss for Oshkosh North.
Hortonville 4, Oshkosh West 3
OSHKOSH – Turner Kuhnke had three hits and Kael Konrad had two hits in the Polar Bears’ win over the Wildcats.
Taiven Gass pitched a complete game for Hortonville, allowing three runs on seven hits while striking out seven.
Evan Johnson and Eddy Schroeder had two hits each for Oshkosh West.
Madden Mercado took the loss for Oshkosh West.
Menasha 1, De Pere 0
MENASHA – Jacob Coopman pitched a one-hit shutout, striking out seven while walking three, to lead the Bluejays to the nonconference win over the Redbirds.
Isaac Poehlman took the loss, pitching six innings and allowing three hits while striking out four and walking three.
Menasha scored its only run in the fifth inning when Paul Schmolinske singled and scored on a throwing error.
Coopman finished 2-for-3 at the plate with a double.
Wrightstown 3, Little Chute 2
LITTLE CHUTE – The Tigers scored two runs in the third inning and one in the fourth off Little Chute’s Reece Joten to get the win.
Wrightstown got two hits and two RBIs from Trevor Vande Hey.
Joten had three hits and scored twice for Little Chute. Noah Faccio and Trevor Verhagen each had two hits for the Mustangs.
Caleb Podgorski pitched the first three innings, giving up one run on three hits and a walk to get the win for Wrightstown (18-5, 16-2).
Joten took the loss for Little Chute (18-5, 13-5).
Xavier 8, Crivitz 0
APPLETON – The Hawks scored in four of six innings en route to the nonconference win.
Matthew Potter led the Xavier attack, going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Reed Flick added three RBIs, while Gavin Wiese drove in two runs.
Six Hawks pitchers combined to throw a one-hitter, as Quinn Comerford was credited with the win.
Kewaunee 4, Freedom 1
KEWAUNEE – The Storm snapped a 1-1 game with a three-run fourth inning en route to the win over the Irish.
Four Kewaunee pitchers – Brett Paulsen, Waylon Delain, Brady Pribek and Jackson Walecka – combined to allow one run on one hit and three walks while striking out seven.
Delain got the win for Kewaunee.
Braeden Dayton, who entered the game in the third inning in relief of Carson Peters, took the loss for Freedom. He allowed three runs on one hit and three walks over 1⅔ innings.
Paulsen had two hits for Kewaunee.
Shiocton 18, Berlin 1
SHIOCTON – The Chiefs banged out 15 hits, scoring three runs in the first inning, 10 in the third and five in the fourth to earn the nonconference win.
Blake Carton had the hot bat, going 3-for-3 with a double, three RBIs and three runs scored. Braylon Krull was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, Jackson Young was 2-for-4 with two RBIs, Hunter Heinemeyer was 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and three runs scored, and Sawyer Young was 2-for-3 with four RBIs.
Isaiah Carton picked up the win, pitching three innings and allowing one hit while striking out two. Sawyer Young pitched the final two innings, allowing two hits and one earned run while striking out three.
The win moves Shiocton to 10-11 overall, while Berlin falls to 1-17.
Oconto 11, Chilton 8
OCONTO – The Oconto offense opened up with a 14-hit attack en route to the nonconference win.
Davis Knoll had three hits, while Garrett Goetsch added two hits with four RBIs. Collin Baumann and Joey Baumann both had two hits and two RBIs, while Dane Helnore contributed two hits, including a triple.
Cooper Campshure picked up the win in relief.
Peyton Juckem and Nathan Mueller each had two hits and two RBIs for Chilton. Hudson Ludwig had three hits, including a triple.
Oconto improves to 17-6 overall.
GIRLS SOCCERKimberly 0, Oshkosh West 0
KIMBERLY – Bee Brockert made two saves in net to help the Papermakers earn a scoreless draw with the Wildcats in Fox Valley Association action.
Kimberly moved to 7-0-1 in the FVA and 12-3-2 overall, while West is now 5-1-2 and 8-5-3.
Freedom 8, Clintonville 0
CLINTONVILLE – Adria Ponschock scored three goals to propel the Irish past the Truckers in North Eastern Conference action.
Also scoring goals for Freedom were Delaney Carlson, Brooklyn Gulmire, Riley Bobusch, Elle Lezotte and Ava Calhoon. Carlson, Bobusch, Brooke Kirby, Lindsey Van Camp and Ally Daul added assists.
Sophia Johnson was untested in net for Freedom.
Menasha 1, Seymour 0
MENASHA – Cami Fonder scored in the 62nd minute to propel the Bluejays past the Thunder in Bay Conference action.
The win moves Menasha to 3-4-2 in the Bay and 4-10-2 overall, while Seymour falls to 5-3-1 and 7-7-2.
Luxemburg-Casco 3, Waupaca 1
LUXEMBURG – The Spartans jumped out to a three-goal lead and cruised to the North Eastern Conference win.
Casidee Jacobson opened the scoring in the 26th minute off an assist from Aaliyah Wallace. Wallace then scored a pair of goals in the following two minutes.
Bobbi Tesch scored Waupaca’s lone goal in the 42nd minute.
Ashley Fameree made 12 saves in net for Luxemburg-Casco, while Sophie Sanders made seven stops for the Comets.
Luxemburg-Casco will face Green Bay Preble in a nonconference match May 29.
Winneconne 3, Kewaskum 0
KEWASKUM – Suri Hottmann, Harper Neace and Abigail Oleson all scored goals as the Wolves scored two second-half goals to put the game out of reach in East Central Conference action.
Miraya Dodd, Jada Kaiser and Millie Braman added assists.
Emery Sommers made four saves in net for Winneconne.
With the win, the Wolves moved to 15-3 overall and 4-2 in the ECC, while Kewaskum fell to 4-10-3 and 1-3-1.
