Pretty normal for neighbors to be large scale trading partners. Plus they have a surpisingly diverse and modern economy so it’s sensible there’d be more trade than the other options. Trade with russia is always subject to political insanity and Azerbaijan and Armenia can’t offer much besides dewpotic gas and tax evasion services. So long as Georgia isn’t pulled into Ankara’s orbit or threatened like Armenia it’s probably good to get as much trade as possible with them. It’s a pity the Turkish secular liberals can’t buy Georgian wine at a reasonable price because of their excise taxes
You’re quoting old data from 2023.
