The Chicago Sky have officially earned their first win of the season, defeating Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings 97-92.

Before facing the Wings, the Sky were 0-4, tying the worst record to start the season in franchise history. They suffered losses to the Indiana Fever, Phoenix Mercury, Los Angeles Sparks and New York Liberty.
The win over the Wings marked the first win of the season for first-year head coach Tyler Marsh.
“FIRST CAREER WIN FOR HEAD COACH TYLER MARSH 🩵💛,” posted the official social media account of the Chicago Sky.
Before hiring head coach Tyler Marsh, the Sky courted Teresa Weatherspoon for one season, Angel Reese’s rookie year.

The Chicago Sky now have momentum, picking up their first win of the season. They’ll have a chance to earn another victory on Saturday, set to face the Dallas Wings at 8 p.m. ET.

In the win over the Wings on Thursday night, the Sky were led by Camilla Cardoso, who posted 23 points, eight rebounds and one assist.
Chicago star Angel Reese finished the game with six points, nine rebounds and five assists.

Before accepting the head coaching gig with the Chicago Sky, head coach Tyler Marsh served as an assistant coach with the Las Vegas Aces from 2022 to 2024. Prior to that, he acted as an assistant coach with the Indiana Pacers from 2020 to 2022.
Marsh has also spent time as a player development coach with the Toronto Raptors, and as an assistant coach to the Alabama A&M, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants and more.
