Retail sales in Bosnia and Herzegovina fell by 1.4% year-on-year in April 2025, marking the fourth consecutive monthly decline, easing from a 2.9% drop in the previous month.
Retail sales were weighed down by declines in both food, beverages, and tobacco (-3.5% vs +2.5% in March) and non-food products (-1.4% vs -6.5%), though these were partially offset by a rise in automotive fuel turnover (+1.7% vs +0.9%).
On a monthly basis, retail trade rose by 3.3% in April, the strongest increase in five months, following flat growth in the previous month.
