Nexhat Behluli reportedly arrested, sought to eliminate Kosovo journalists

Journalist from the Presheva Valley, Nexhat Behluli, was arrested on Friday afternoon by the Kosovo Police.
Behluli was interviewed yesterday by the Directorate for the Investigation of Serious Crimes in Pristina, in the capacity of a suspect.
By decision of the Prosecutor General, Behluli has been detained for 48 hours, Paparaci learns through sources in the justice system.
The journalist from Presheva had called journalists “a cancer of the state of Kosovo.”
“If you have even a little knowledge of the journalism profession, you have understood how these media profiteers work, one of them publishes a tendentious News, all of them then publish the same News, only changing the title. If one of them is discovered to have an affair, all of these others then come to his defense! These are a cancer of the state of Kosovo and what is worse, they are very strong, they do not give up, the only way to stop the wave of oppression is like Bulgaria and Romania have eliminated criminals on the verge of joining the EU”, he wrote.
