LADSON, S.C. (WCIV) — Live Oak Mental Health and Wellness, Trident Medical Center’s mental health hospital, has received Mental Health America’s Gold Bell Award.
The award, the first national certification program recognizing employers committed to supporting a mentally healthy workforce, was awarded in May during National Mental Health Awareness Month.
Trident Medical’s 60-bed mental health hospital was the first to open in the Lowcountry for more than 30 years when it opened almost two years ago in Ladson, providing inpatient and outpatient services to adolescents and adults.
