All I can say is I’m so glad I had switched out from BNF just before the transition. I used them for a total of 3 months before I saw that even on the old system there were issues.
In my case, contactless payments on my contactless card never worked despite going through everything customer support told me to. Also, whenever I tried to make a transaction online to a merchant not based in Malta, my card payment was declined on BNF’s side. That includes Revolut. That was the final straw for me as even the worst banks in Malta manage to get at least that right.
Also experienced terrible customer service in their branches. Being spoken down to as if I have 0 financial literacy. I work for one of the largest banks in the world, I don’t need to be told how a savings account works.
