Private ispace Resilience probe will attempt lunar landing this week: If all goes to plan, the Resilience spacecraft will be the third ever private mission to succesfully land on the moon. It will also deploy a rover called Tenacious to explore and photograph the lunar surface.

    This is such a cool mission. I love that ispace is aiming for Mare Frigoris, mainly because no one’s been there before! If they stick the landing, it’ll be a huge milestone, not just for ispace, but for non-U.S. private spaceflight in general. And what a quick turnaround after their failed 2023 attempt!
