The Environment and Energy Ministry on Tuesday said that it has submitted a draft law for public electronic consultation aimed at promoting the production of biomethane and organizing the hydrogen market.

According to a statement by the ministry, the draft law establishes the institutional framework for the production and participation of biomethane and renewable and low-carbon hydrogen in Greece’s energy mix to achieve the relevant objectives included in the National Plan for Energy and Climate.

The consultation will run until June 16.
