I’m no Tory, but I genuinely think she needs professional psychiatric help. Although she fucked up, I can’t imagine it’s easy knowing you fucked up that bad, and I think coming to terms with it (as she clearly hasn’t) in a medical setting would do everyone some good.

Its quite remarkable that the highlight of her time in office was the period the nation was in an official state of mourning for the Queen and she wasn’t allowed to do anything.

One of the tories was on BBC breakfast this morning. Shadow chancellor or summat. Anyway, he said the mini budget was Ill advised. Some way short of an apology in my book, and of course, absolutely no mention of the other 14 years where they were busy ripping the arse out of the country.
I appreciate that Neville Chamberlain tried to appease the Nazis, but surely she’s the worst Prime Minister in modern history.
Best bit is she’s now on PM pay packet for as long as she remains an MP. So she continues to rob the tax payer every single day, with absolutely no shame whatsoever. Woman is the devil.

Selfishly, I’m glad she did it. That budget shot the interest rate up, which forced house prices down. Her mini budget is the only reason I own a house now. There was zero chance of it happening when the interest rates were stupidly low.
Looking back it’s very easy to say that Liz Truss was a terrible choice for Prime Minister, but it’s important to remember it was very easy to do that before she became Prime Minister too, and during her time as Prime Minister.
