    > Now, the newly-elected MP for Runcorn and Helsby has been spotted holding a mug saying ‘Two-Tier Keir’ with an edited image of Starmer wearing a Hijab.

“We’re not racist, we’re just massive cunts”

This is going to do wonders for attracting anyone who isn’t a right wing nut job…

Seeing this drama I actually kind of wish they had more MPs… can you imagine this deranged woman but 10 of them? Farage would lose control quite quickly and the public would be put off

This is the party polling highest in our country ladies and gentlemen. We’re cooked as the youth would say.

Reform meetups must be a thigh-slapping good time, with comedy of this calibre.

  6. The more their party is in the limelight, the more you’ll see their colours

As with most parties of their calibre, they’ll self implode eventually

If you have an issue with a Muslim woman covering their hair, but not an elderly White English woman for example, then the problem is you. But we know this is suggesting something more insidious than that

They have nothing positive to say about our society. The Reform policies are nothing more than a fairy tale that 5 year olds can see through. Their glorious and supreme leader spends more time enriching himself or abroad than representing the suckers who voted for him. And now we have the newest member of this party of shysters showing us what’s really important to her – an irrational hatred of people she has never met and never will.

The US ICE police in masks abducting people in plain sight and imprisoning people in concentration camps run by their political donors – a Reform wet dream people. Wake up!

  9. FastCommunication301 on

Ffs the picture in the mug isn’t of a Burqa which shows how ignorant everyone is about the issue.

  10. Ugh seriously when did this country get so toxic. Or has it always been like this and I’ve just got the classic “good ol’ days” false memories?

  11. Not even dog whistling . Just endless , out-loud anti Muslim hysteria. It’s not even a year since large parts of the my country was rioting and trying to find any old brown or black person to beat up or kill. As a British Muslim I’m just sick of this endless reminder that large parts of the uk don’t want me here

  12. Politicians in this country really are pathetic, they seem more akin to children bickering and having weird jabs at each other than people who are responsible for shaping an entire country.

Feels like she’s trying too hard to show she isn’t part the ‘mainstream’ parties after defecting from the Tories

A good lesson for those who think the far right Reform party is the answer to their woes: the far right government in the Netherlands has just collapsed without achieving *anything* at all. In fact, it has been the least productive cabinet ever, and as a result the country is now worse off.

Let me guess another appointee via reforms amazing vetting system/s

It’s just funny how reform can’t handle 5 mps like this all could’ve been avoided if 30p lee did his job as party Whip and stopped that question, but what can you expect from incompetent fools but more incompetence.

  16. This newer wave of edge lord mps who want to be controversial feed off this drama

  17. Not for nothing, but if tou didn’t know the lady holding the mug was a hateful bigot, you may not even recognise that as a hijab. For all I know, Sir Keith may just be wearing a shawl.

If you blur your eyes a little, you could even be forgiven for mistaking [this](https://uk.pinterest.com/pin/her-majesty-queen-elizabeth–664632857485176994/) as one of those dreaded Burkas. But I doubt that reform would be so outspoken seeing a monarch wearing a head scarf

I still don’t fully understand what two tier kier is supposed to mean. He may not be as leftist as I’d like, but he’s certainly less about enriching his mates at the expense of everyone else than any of the other PM’s we’ve had in the last 14 years.

  19. If you want a chuckle, hop onto r/reformuk.

I really don’t think they get much feedback in their echo chamber.

There’s an old (now deleted) FB post of her welcoming Syrian refugees lol.

  21. If people are talking about banning the burqa, could we also talk about banning roadmen in Nike balaclavas? I know which one i would prefer to meet down a dark alley, and it isn’t the one that says “ay yo blud what youuu sayin”

  22. The 30% of people that claim they’d vote for these people are the ones to blame for this shitshow.

  23. TheChattyRat on

How do 90 percent of people get in with their lives without just living in perpetual hate of the “other”? It’s almost like most people have better things to be getting on with than banning articles of clothing.

  24. Savage-September on

And they wonder what provokes people to commit violence against MPs. This type of behaviour just signals to a base that Starmer is an enemy. It’s just politics. This is where the right always takes things. And the media does nothing to call it out. Horrendous.

  25. Cynical_Classicist on

These aren’t serious politicians. It’s just making a ridiculous show to pander to bigots.
