Kosovo showed character and defeated Armenia in an exciting friendly at “Fadil Vokrri”. The first half ended 2-1 for Armenia, but Kosovo came back strongly in the second half and won the match with a score of 4-2.
Armenia took the lead in the 8th minute, when goalkeeper Amir Saipi deflected the ball into his own net after a shot by Nair Tiknizyan.
Kosovo reacted with determination and Ermal Krasniqi hit the post a few minutes later.
Kosovo’s efforts were rewarded in the 23rd minute, when Lumbardh Dellova fired a spectacular shot from 30 meters, tying the score.

Armenia took the lead again in the 29th minute, with a beautiful free kick from Eduard Spertsyan.
Kosovo did not give up and hit the post again in the 38th minute through Leart Paqarada. Armenia’s goalkeeper, Armend Henri Avagyan, made several crucial saves, keeping the score 2-1 until the end of the first half.

In the second half, Kosovo came into the game strongly and sought an equalizer from the start.
This came in the 60th minute, when Baton Zabërxha won a penalty after a quick break. Mërgim Vojvoda converted from the penalty spot, tying the score at 2-2.

After this goal, Kosovo continued to dominate and took the lead in the 71st minute. Lindon Emërllahu scored for 3-2 after a rebound inside the area.

Franco Foda’s team continued to threaten the Armenian goal: Florian Haxha had a golden opportunity for the fourth goal, but he could not beat goalkeeper Avagyan. In the following action, Albion Rrahmani hit the post.
But Rrahmani didn’t stop and a few minutes later, he managed to score the fourth goal for Kosovo, sealing the final score 4-2.

In the final minutes, Kosovo controlled the game and with Albion Rrahmani scoring again after a beautiful pass and with a precise shot inside the area, he scored the fifth goal for Kosovo and sealed the convincing 5-2 victory.
